Math 2 On Monday
In class today we worked on finishing our application project. These problems involved using 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 triangles to solve "real world" problems. Homework for tonight was page 153 7-14. Remember that we will have our quiz on Thursday. Listed below are 3 links where you can go to get more practice solving triangle problems.

How to Find the Area of a Triangle Using Pythagorean Theorem
Watch the following video. This shows how to find the area of a triangle when you must calculate the height. Remember Area = 1/2 b * h for a triangle. This is similiar to the problems we worked in class. By the way, you will see one of these on the quiz on Tuesday.
New Technology - A Way to Communicate
Welcome to my math classroom blog. I am trying a new technology that I am learning about from Georgia State University. This blog will be used as a sort of diary detailing what we learned about that day in class. I will restate the essential question that we talked about and highlight the main ideas. I will also include what was assigned for homework (in case you forgot to write it down). You can reply with any questions or comments about this site or about what we went over in class. Remember, this is new to me so help me make the best use out of this new technology.
